If you’ve never been to Plum Islandbefore and you’re looking for vacation destinations, you just may be on the verge of discovering your new favorite get-away. If you’re a resident of the Island or live on the North Shore, please consider us your primary resource when looking for accommodations for family visits, or when searching for your next place to call home.

Our roots here on Plum Island go back a few generations. Our grandparents fell in love with the Island in the early 60’s and bought a home where generations of the family have vacationed, lived and celebrated milestones. It’s in the family to this day and some of us still call it home. As with many of the homes on the Island, we affectionately called ours “The Cottage”. The name has now translated into something quite a bit larger. We own The Cottage Island Market, The Cottage Surf Shop, and The Cottage Creamery here on the Island.

We love Plum Island, and Plum Island Properties is playing a pivotal role in its preservation, development, and tourism. We want everyone to know what it’s like to watch a sunset over the marsh, we would like to encourage more people to support The Parker River National Wildlife Refuge and the MA Audubon Society, and we hope to offer skilled and educated counsel to anyone hoping to purchase a home here on our barrier Island.

We are one of the most active real estate firms on Plum Island, having been involved in transactions for over 17 residential units and 3 commercial properties during the last 5 years. Our knowledge of the area and our experience in the purchase and sale of real estate are unmatched.

Property Maintenance & Operations

F. Vincent Godin, Owner/Broker, has been involved in the purchase, sale and financing of hundreds of millions of dollars of real estate over the last 15 years. Vincent has an in depth knowledge of Plum Island, having been involved with many of the Islands largest transactions and having intimate knowledge of the rules and regulations that come with purchasing, constructing or renovating on Plum Island. Vincent brings this knowledge to the advantage of the clients he represents in selling or purchasing on the Island. Vincent earned his undergraduate degree in Finance and Accounting as well as his Masters in Accounting from Boston College. He is a licensed CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).

Jeff Christensen leads the operations initiative behind Plum Island Properties. His dad, Rick, is our maintenance expert in-residence. The Christensen family has been vacationing and living on Plum Island since the 1950’s.
Jeff is a graduate of Triton and Northeastern. After leaving his job as District Operations Manager with Giorgio Armani, Jeff, along with family, purchased and renovated 17 vacation rentals on Plum Island. In 2015, Jeff purchased the Mr. Moe’s property, redeveloping it, and now managing The Cottage Island Market, Cottage Surf Shop and The Cottage Creamery.
